GravelSum helps homeowners and small project planners turn site measurements into a supplier-ready gravel estimate.

Material orders often go wrong at the handoff between geometry and purchasing. A measured volume gets converted with an unexplained density, a waste percentage appears automatically, and supplier minimums are applied somewhere out of sight. GravelSum keeps each choice visible.

What the tool does

It combines several simple areas, calculates volume from depth, optionally applies a supplier-provided loose-to-compacted factor, adds only the allowance you enter, and preserves density uncertainty as a weight range. Quote comparison then applies minimums and order increments at the final step.

What it does not do

It does not identify material, design pavement or drainage, inspect a site, quote a local supplier, or guarantee the delivered yield. The supplier and qualified local professionals remain the sources for product density, compaction, installation, structural design, and final order approval.
